If you are interested in joining the Fort Ben community, whether it's a new development or renovation of an existing building, before you begin, you'll need to check out the downloadable resources listed under Architectural Review Process. The standards contained in these downloadable resources are required by the federal government's Department of Interior, the City of Indianapolis, and the City of Lawrence. Before any certificates of occupancy or building permits are issued, a letter from the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority approving your project must be received. We recognize this may seem like an extra step which is why the FHRA endeavors to expedite all architectural reviews in an effort to help you begin on time.
